  • Over 3 million poisonings are reported every year and household cleaners are the NUMBER ONE cause of poisoning of children.
  • Bleach is linked to the rising rates of breast cancer in women, reproductive problems in men and learning and behavioral problems in children.
  • Since 1980, asthma has increased by 600%. The Canadian Lung Association and the Asthma Society of Canada has identified common household cleaners and cosmetics as triggers.

Are You A Pet Owner?

According To Kansas State Veterinarian, Dr. Susan Nelson,
There Are Dangers To Pets From Common Household Products.

"Commonly used products like bleach, all-purpose cleaners and other disinfectants can cause chemical burns on pets' skin and can be toxic if ingested. Nelson said this often happens because pets come into contact with the cleanser after the bottle spills on them or they walk on a freshly washed floor or bathtub. Dogs or cats that walk on these types of surfaces can get burns on their paws. Also, when they lick their paws or fur it can cause burns to the mouth and esophagus, she said." Since dogs and puppies are prone to chew on items, Nelson also recommends keeping cleaning product plastic bottles out of your pets reach.
